Use #12 To Fish Insulated Walls
Take 18 to 20 feet of #12 solid wire and double it together. Now, hook the folded end into a vice or something to keep it from turning, then chuck up the two ends into a drill and slowly twist it into a solid flexible fish leader with an eyelet at one end. Works great in walls with insulation.
